AI Support Agent

An AI support agent for your website.

It answers customers from your help pages and FAQs. When it can't solve the problem, it hands off to your team.

Who it talks to: customers with a question or a problem

What it does

01

Tries to solve it first

It answers from the site, FAQs and documents you give it. For how-to questions it walks through the steps, and offers another fix if the first one doesn't work.

02

Checks it worked

After a fix it asks whether the issue is resolved. When it is, it shows a 1-to-5 satisfaction survey.

03

Hands off when it can't help

If a few attempts haven't worked, the customer keeps asking for a person, or the issue needs account or billing changes, it notifies your team. When no one can take over, it shows your support request form or your contact page.

04

Shows the results

Conversations handled, the share resolved without a person (deflection rate), handoffs, average CSAT, low-rated conversations and the topics people ask about, all in the dashboard.

Why the same platform works

Support questions, like sales questions, come down to one thing: can they be answered from what's on your site? Meeton is built to answer only from your own content, so changing its goal from booking a meeting to solving the problem is enough to use it for support.

Answers from your own content

It answers from the site, documents and FAQs you give it. For a question you've added, it gives your answer as written, so set answers stay consistent.

It remembers the context

A returning customer picks up the conversation where they left off, without explaining the problem all over again.

Handoff is built in

Team notifications and replying to the customer from the dashboard work out of the box.

You see what it couldn't answer

Deflection by topic shows where a new FAQ or help article would help most.

What it won't do

  • Pass the customer to a person at the first sign of trouble. It tries to help first.
  • Show the satisfaction survey before it has actually helped.
  • Link anywhere but your own pages. No third-party or competitor sites.
  • Book sales meetings or push sales content. That's the AI SDR's job.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from the AI SDR?

It's the same Meeton chat with a different goal. The AI SDR takes prospects to a sales meeting; the AI Support Agent solves customers' problems. Booking, documents, ads and email stay out of the way. Each site (funnel) runs one type, so your sales pages and support pages are set up separately.

Can a person take over?

Yes. When a customer asks for a person, or the AI can't help, your team is notified and can reply from the dashboard. Their messages are marked as coming from a person.

How is the deflection rate counted?

A conversation counts as handed off when the customer left their details for a follow-up, a teammate stepped in, or the customer clicked through to your support contact page. Everything else counts as resolved without a person.

Where do the answers come from?

The site you crawl, the questions and answers you add, and the documents you upload. For a question you've added, it gives your answer as written.
